Bullying

Bullying is a major problem in America today. It can be stopped only by applying the consequences to all cases of bullying. Teachers can help by, if they see it, confronting the bully and giving reasonable punishment. Parents can help by not supporting bully-like behavior because many problems begin at home. If students see bullying, they can report it. Cyber-bullying is just like normal bullying, and should have the same consequences.

Being this Age

The thing I will remember about being this age is not being able to drive (legally). People suggest I get a job but I can’t because I can’t drive. When I need to go somewhere I need to have someone take me, which is harder because I am the oldest. The reason I think adults forget this is because it is such a common thing for them for such a long time that they don’t give much thought about it. Oh well, only one more month.

Teaching

Most of what I could teach about would probably be in the historical category. I could also teach about video games or 70s rock. obviously the range of useful information is extremely limited. In the historical category, my best areas would probably wars or the history of Cherokee County (which is very boring). Needless to say, however, I would certainly not want to teach about any of this; it does not appeal to me.

Grammar Problems

My main concern with my grammar is the use of who or whom. I know most of the time it should be whom but then I don’t know when it should be who. Other than that I have trouble with the apostrophies in words. That’s (or thats) all.

If I could have a personal assistant for a week, it would be Albert Einstein. I would choose him because he was obviously good at math. Most, or I should say all, of my homework is from math. Since he is good at math, I would have him do my math homework and then I would just relax. Of course I would also have him do normal slave work as well, like having him trim the bushes, water the lawn, mow the lawn, make my bed, and do laundry. I may also let him have a shot at my science homework but he was not a biologist so I would be a little skeptical. I would also have him get a haircut and possibly a mohawk. I chose him over the others because of his math skill and because I have no idea who the Iscosoles or Streptecocos or whatever his name is.

Isn’t it crazy what you can find on the internet

Newt Gingrich

Well, in my infinite struggle with procrastination I decided to dodge doing some projects by posting this. So, today I saw Newt Gingrich speak at my church. I enjoyed it as I missed Rick Santorum there last week. He was very entertaining to listen to and made very good points. If I could vote, I would probably vote for him for a number of reasons. So, I guess I should get back to work now.

Romeo & Juliet Alternate Ending

After Romeo takes the poison and Juliet awakens, Friar Lawrence is trying to convince her to leave. While they are arguing, she spots the dagger Romeo had brought. She then takes the dagger and, despite the Friar’s trying to reason with her, kills herself. The Friar then checks to see if she may still be alive. The Prince and several soldiers walk in as he is examining the knife. They assume he killed Romeo, Juliet, and Paris. A few days later he is hung in the town square for all to see.

THE END

Magic Dust

If I had a magical dust, that when I breathed it I aged ten years, I would not breath it unless it’s effects were temporary or I knew the world would end soon. I would maybe use it if it aged me only five years because that would be a less drastic change. If I did the only good things would be that I would be a beast at football, I would probably have a beast mustache ,and that nobody would suspect anything if I was driving, even though I don’t have a liscense. I don’t think my life would be any worse. I do not know if the experiences I would have had in the time I skipped would carry over to my memory, but if they did, I would still have the mind of a fourteen year-old, which would be problematic. Instead of breathing it, I would use it as a prank by putting it in pepper shakers.

I am sorry about any spelling mistsakes. Every time I hit the spell check button, this came up: There was a problem communicating with the After the Deadline service. Try again in one minute. It never began working again.

Childhood Memory

Although I don’t remember very much from my childhood, or what I ate for breakfast this morning, one thing that really sticks out is when it was not too long after my… (never mind the number) birthday and my family, and my friends Zach and Parker’s families, were going on vacation to Destin, Florida. The house we rented had a street behind it in between it and the beach and another in front in between it and the biggest pool I’ve ever seen. I remember it for good and bad reasons. On the bad side, I fell asleep at the beach giving me a huge sunburn, but on the good side it was the first time I ever heard Bob Marley, gone deep-sea fishing, or seen waves taller than me (at that point in time).
